We made it – and then some!

The support for this film surpassed our wildest expectations, smashing past our initial funding target, our stretch goals, and then just kept on rolling… reaching over $70,000 in the last few minutes.

There was a lot of champagne, happy dancing, and smiles of disbelief, as the final seconds of clock ticked over. Celebrations continued on well into the night. And now the real adventure begins – time to make a film!

Thanks to this overwhelming support, we now have the resources to make our film the best it can be – that extra funding is really going to make this animation shine! A heartfelt thank you to every last one of you beautiful backers, we’re so excited to have your enthusiasm behind us as we move forward.

Next up is a dedicated preproduction phase: developing the storyboards & designs, timing animatics, building rigs, animation tests, and more. As you can see from the photo above, Ellen is already busy digging into historical research and sketching up a storm.
