what’s in a name?

Just a few snaps to show a little bit of what we’ve been up to over the last week. I think the image above is maybe my favorite portrait of Oran we’ve shot so far. Ellen’s artwork has really captured his expression perfectly here.

Our first glimpse of a more contemporary version of the chapel, as we move forward out of the ‘mythological’ section of the story.

Then back in time again, deep into the haze of myth and symbolism, this yew tree is one of the more detailed set pieces we’ve cut out so far.

You think we would’ve learned by now that any shot with a ghost will be more complex than expected to shoot, and run way over schedule. Ghosts really are hard to photograph, who knew?

Snapshot of the studio white board on Friday night, after a deep dive into origins of the islands name ‘Iona’. It’s fascinating how much history there is in this one small place, it’s been spiritually important to so many cultures throughout time. Looking for ways to layer this in where ever we can.
